This Privacy Policy explains how CBMO AI Inc. ("CBMO AI," "Specks," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects personal information when you visit tryspecks.com, create an account, or use the Specks platform and related services (collectively, the "Service").

Specks is an AI-powered brand design platform that helps businesses, freelancers, and designers create logos, brand kits, brand guidelines, and other brand-design assets.

By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

02Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

• •Account and contact information: name, email address, login or authentication information, company or business name, account preferences, and communications with us.
• •Brand and project information: business or brand name, industry, descriptions, brand preferences, colors, typography preferences, design instructions, prompts, project information, and other information you choose to provide.
• •Uploaded content: logos, images, reference materials, documents, brand assets, and other files you upload or provide through Specks.
• •Generated content: AI-generated logos, designs, brand kits, brand guidelines, variations, edits, and related project information.
• •Payment and subscription information: subscription plan, transaction status, billing information, purchase history, and related payment metadata. Payments are processed through Stripe. Specks does not directly store your complete payment-card number when payment information is processed by Stripe.
• •Device and usage information: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, approximate location derived from IP address, pages or features accessed, referring URL, dates and times of access, diagnostic information, and security-related information.

03How we collect information

• •Directly from you when you create an account, use Specks, purchase a subscription, contact us, or submit content.

05AI processing

Specks uses artificial intelligence to generate and assist with brand and design outputs.

Information you submit to an AI-powered feature may be processed by AI systems and technology providers used by Specks to provide that feature. Depending on the feature, this may include prompts, text, images, design references, business information, and other relevant project content.

We aim to use only the information reasonably necessary to provide the requested AI functionality.

Unless we expressly state otherwise, Specks does not intend to use private customer project content to train general-purpose AI models. We may use aggregated, de-identified, or technical information to operate, secure, analyze, and improve the Service where permitted by law.

AI providers and other service providers may process information on our behalf subject to their applicable agreements and privacy obligations.

06Payment processing — Stripe

We use Stripe to process payments and manage billing for paid Specks subscriptions and purchases.

Stripe may collect and process information such as your name, email address, billing information, payment method information, transaction information, IP address, device information, payment status, subscription information, refunds, and other information necessary to process and secure transactions.

Specks generally receives limited payment-related information from Stripe, such as transaction status, subscription status, amount, currency, payment date, and related billing information.

Stripe processes information under its own privacy terms and may act as a data controller and/or processor depending on the processing activity and applicable law.

07How we share information

We may disclose personal information to service providers and other parties where reasonably necessary to operate Specks, including providers for:

08Your brand content and projects

Your private projects and uploaded brand assets are used primarily to provide the Service and related functionality.

We do not publicly publish your private projects unless you choose to make them public or otherwise direct us to do so.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions necessary to upload content to Specks.

You should not upload confidential, sensitive, or personal information that is unnecessary for the design service you are requesting.

09Cookies and similar technologies

We may use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, authentication, security, preferences, analytics, performance measurement, and, where applicable, marketing.

Our Cookie Policy provides additional information about these technologies and your choices.

10Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain accounts, complete transactions, provide customer support, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce our agreements, and protect the Service.

When information is no longer required, we may delete, anonymize, or otherwise dispose of it, subject to legal, security, backup, and operational requirements.

11International data transfers

Specks and our service providers may process personal information in countries other than the country where you live.

15Children's privacy

Specks is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can take appropriate steps.

16Third-party websites and services

Specks may contain links to third-party websites, applications, or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties.

Third-party services integrated with Specks may have their own privacy policies and terms. We encourage you to review those policies before providing information to third parties.

17Business transfers

If CBMO AI Inc. is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law and any required notices or consents.
